✂️bad haircuts and bad health plans… let’s avoid both!

Is there anything worse than a bad haircut?!

Other than, of course, the solution to a bad haircut, which is usually…wait for it to grow out and try again. Oof!

So, when I needed a new hairstylist, I went to someone I knew I could trust—my sister, Marci. I loved her latest look, and she raved about her stylist, Debbie.

Sure enough, when I booked an appointment with Debbie, I walked out looking and feeling great too!

As human beings, we are hardwired to share positive experiences.  It taps into our innate social nature – we love to help each other!  And it makes us feel good to know the person we care about is taken care of.

And in today’s world, where we’re inundated with marketing and advertising, it’s a powerful experience to hear a positive review from someone you already know and trust.

That’s why referrals are the highest-converting form of marketing. Word-of-mouth beats Facebook ads, TV commercials, or pop-ups every time.  In fact, 92% of people ask their network for recommendations before making a purchase.

But word-of-mouth is only effective if businesses build trust and take great care of their customers. There is NO replacement for providing value and excellent service. 

When you send someone you care about to get my support, I take that very seriously! This is (and has been for the past 14+ years) the #1 priority in my business.

When you refer someone, they instantly receive a text and an email with the following:

  • Immediate Support: They fill out a quick survey and schedule a Zoom call with me right away.
  • No-pressure guidance: When we meet, my focus is on providing them with clarity and confidence on their next steps—not about the sale.
  • The right solution: If I can’t offer the best solution, I make a referral to someone who can. My community’s needs always come first.

And by ‘refer someone,’ I don’t just mean people looking for health coverage. As an advisor, I also help:
