I didn’t choose my career in health insurance.
It chose me.
I had been laid off from a local bank along with 10 others. There were no immediate job openings in the small town of Pagosa Springs at that time.
When I was offered the opportunity to “try” health insurance, I did—and I’ve never looked back.
It’s been a great path for me because I’ve always been passionate about health, and just as passionate about helping people feel confident and cared for when it matters most.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve dedicated myself to becoming a trusted guide in the often confusing world of health insurance. My mission is simple: to make sure you have the information, support, and coverage you need.
Sometimes that looks like supporting you directly. Other times, I’ll point you to someone in my network who is better equipped.
The important thing to me is that you get the support you deserve.
The stories below are just a few reminders of why I do what I do.
Your family matters to me like my own, and I want to make sure they’re protected when life throws the unexpected.
“I referred Mary to my daughter who lives with my 5-year-old grandson in rural Wyoming. My grandson contracted encephalitis as he started pre-school.
Having been misdiagnosed by our regular doctors initially, he ended up having to be life-flighted to the children’s hospital in Colorado.
They didn’t know if he was going to make it—and they saved his precious life. Today he is healthy, energetic, and running around as ever.
I am forever grateful that he was able to get to the best hospital possible.”
“With my husband’s heart attack, I was very impressed…the upgrade was awesome and I expected to pay a lot more than we did!”
“I never thought I would ever use health insurance. Stewart and I were always healthy and took good care of ourselves.
Our business was in Texas and our home was in Colorado. When I was diagnosed in 2017 in Colorado with stage 4 breast cancer, my local doctor recommended MD Anderson Cancer Center.
I thank my lucky stars I had a health plan that allowed me to get to the best possible place for my cancer.
If I had an Obamacare plan, I would not have been able to go to another state.
Mary and her team have been fantastic—from confirming my ability to go to MD Anderson when I was first diagnosed, as we drove directly from the doctor’s office to the airport, to checking in to see how I was doing and always being available to help answer questions and resolve a claim issue quickly and easily.
I hope my new Medicare plan will be as good as my old plan.”
“Mary Hunt and her team are great!
Within 24 hours of contacting them, we were able to complete a very simple and easy-to-understand application process via a virtual sharing tool.
Mary walked me through all the various coverage plans available, answered all my questions, and completed the application with me.
The plan I now have gives me nationwide coverage (which I didn’t have before) and much more flexibility in my network of doctors (which I also didn’t have before), and my monthly premium is less than what I had.
Plans are simple to understand and affordable.
Contact Mary today to see what she can do for you and your health coverage needs!”
If you have a granddaughter, niece, parent, son, or any loved one, make sure they have coverage that’s there when they need it.
If you’re unsure where to begin, or want help finding the right coverage for yourself or someone you care about, it can make a big difference to talk it through.
